About Eleanor Mullen
Eleanor (Ellie) Mullen is currently studying Fibers+Textiles at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is planning on graduating in the spring of 2021.
Mullen’s work primarily focuses on creating wearable pieces by experimenting with form, color, and texture. This allows her the freedom of exploring different aesthetics throughout her artist practice, treating every piece she makes as a unique moment of ideation. Much of Mullen’s inspiration comes from the bright colors and textures she resonated with as a child, with strong connections to her ADHD diagnosis. Mullen’s artist practice gives her the space to delve into and understand more of herself as a neurodivergent individual navigating the world around her.
